AudioMarvels® was established by Jack Bowman in 2020 to be a new label for high-quality Audio Drama, Enhanced Audiobooks and Scripted Podcast Content, developing and creating dramatic audio entertainment for emerging Global markets and platforms.

The 2020s will see a new golden age of script audio content, and AudioMarvels® is designed to be a content creation leader for various partners across the planet, both in terms of storytelling and sound design.

AudioMarvels® is led by Jack Bowman, an experienced, multi-award-winning Audio Fiction Writer, Director and Producer with sixteen years of experience across the disciplines of Audio Drama/Scripted Podcast Production.

AudioMarvels® also aims to produce at least one highly bespoke, HD audio experience per year, as we believe quality, not quantity, is key for the listener experience.

Currently based in Elstree & Borehamwood, Herts, Jack works as a freelance Audio Creative across the UK and develops projects for both the UK and the USA. He has a keen interest in genre-based audio drama and digital podcast story-telling, specifically Science Fiction, Fantasy, Comedy and Horror.

He has served as the Associate Director of LOST Theatre, directing notable in-house productions such as JERUSALEM and LET THE RIGHT ONE IN (2014 - 2016), as a Senior Producer and Kids Producer for The Wireless Theatre Company (2009-2014), before the company’s transformation into Wireless Theatre Ltd.

There, he served as Senior Producer, primarily as the Co-Creator and Co-Producer of THE SPRINGHEEL SAGA. He was Acting Head of Production during 2015 and during 2017-2018. During this period, he also produced MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS, ARABIAN NIGHTS, THE SOUL-BREAKER, and THE DARKWATER BRIDE for AUDIBLE. He left Wireless Theatre Ltd in September 2018 to undertake a new role, working with DAGAZ MEDIA LLC to explore joint US-UK audio drama opportunities.

Their first project together saw Jack co-script and co-create the pilot for a new dystopia series, ULTIMATE SOLUTION, with Fred Greenhalgh, which won him the opportunity to co-script EXPEDITIONARY FORCE: HOMEFRONT. Based on the award-nominated book series, Jack worked with its creator, NY Times Bestselling author CRAIG ALANSON and PODIUM PUBLISHING, to craft HOMEFRONT for released on AUDIBLE June 2019. Additionally, SINGULAR SOLUTION (the first production under the AudioMarvels® banner) was recorded and then - ironically - released second, in late July 2019 via Drabblecast.

July 2019 also saw Jack have the good fortune to join BBC Studios, London, as a Producer, to work with the Radio Comedy Department and look at podcast opportunities for the UK’s leading radio production unit. It also fulfilled a life long dream to work with the BBC, and after assisting BBC Studios Business and BBC Studios Digital, completed work for the newly rebranded BBC Studios Audio department until March 2020.

He also attended Podcast Movement Evolutions (February 2020, LA), Podfest Expo (March 2020, Orlando). Currently, he assists a variety of production companies, including Datura Films (LA), Spiteful Puppet (UK), 5.55 Films, Rainshine Entertainment, and several other clients based globally.

2020 onwards saw him undertake CIRCLES, BRIGHTON’S KNOCKERS and UNSINKABLE, under the AudioMarvels® label - as well as GETTING BETTER: THE FIGHT FOR THE NHS, SMILE, IT’LL BE OVER SOON, PRATISHODH (in English and Hindi!), six additional fiction and non-fiction pilots as a Producer or Executive Producer, as well as develop various new content for 2022 and beyond.

2022-23 saw his lead produce four seasons for Little Baby Bum and Lellobee City Farm for Moonbug Entertainment, and his newest AudioMarvels® release - LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT, an audio movie remake of the lost horror classic, with Art Malik stepping into Lon Chaney’s shoes.

He lives with his partner and two children next door to Elstree Studios, feeling the spirit of John Steed, Luke Skywalker, Indiana Jones and Alfred Hitchcock every day he walks the streets.
